TO BE HUMAN

“Plunging into my archive boxes was an unforgettable experience for me. I have seen all my beloved dogs get younger and younger again; up to Man Ray, my first Weimaraner, in 1970, with whom it all started,” says William Wegman.

Funny, poetic, absurd, these images of Wegman embody not only his famous humor. They testify to a real teamwork between the photographer and his so talented Weimaraners to hold up a facetious mirror to us.

Because it is about us, human beings. Wegman's dogs are part of the family, his, ours.
